ARTIST STATEMENT

I am a videographer and editor drawn to visuals that capture real, fleeting moments with a strong emotional charge, showing intention and the messiness that are intertwined in the human experience. My work captures high-energy environments through documentary and narrative-driven storytelling, balancing structured filmmaking with the unpredictably raw nature of live experiences.  I love creating visual work that is immersive and documents nightlife and community-driven spaces, and I explore narrative film that encourages introspection and curiosity in viewers. Ultimately, my goal is to preserve the moment's intensity and transform it into a tangible experience that elicits an emotional response in the viewer. The work I do heavily plays with color, movement, light, and sound to create a timeless experience that allows viewers to feel present, as if they were taking part in it.

My process is intuitive. I document different environments and use editing to create a narrative by organizing that spontaneity through rhythm, pacing, and sound. Music helps guide my structure, turning raw footage into something intentional and cinematic. Visual media is one of the most effective ways to share experience and perspective, creating a connection from the screen to the maker. My goal is to share the aliveness of every space I step into.
